Try The Track On Your Ducati

 

"Try The Track" on YOUR Ducati! In partnership with TrackAddix Track Days, we are offering local Ducati riders a chance to get out and experience your Ducati on the best road you've ever ridden on - the race track! No special bike prep or riding gear is required, this program is designed for street riders on street bikes. You'll get TWO sessions on the track with professional riding instruction, PLUS a free lunch! And you'll get to hang out with your favorite Ducati Omaha staff members in our pit area!

WHERE:
Motorsports Park Hastings, Hastings, NE - About 2 hours West of Omaha
MAP / DIRECTIONS

TIMING:
Step 1: Check in at the Ducati Omaha pit area by Noon, where you'll see the familiar faces of the Ducati Omaha staff.
Step 2: Group safety briefing at 12:15 p.m.
Step 3: First on-track session at 12:45 p.m.
Step 4: Lunch break, you'll receive a coupon for a FREE lunch in the track clubhouse
Step 5: Second on-track session at 1:30 p.m.
Step 6: Debriefing and program wrap-up in the Ducati Omaha pit area
Step 7: Depart for home around 2:00-2:30 p.m.

OVERNIGHT STAY:
If you will be travelling from a longer distance (Riding or trailering) and want to come in the night before on Saturday, YOU'RE WELCOME TO DO SO! FREE Camping is available at the track, or RV spots are available for a nominal fee, and there are many hotels available in Hastings as well. If you get there by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday night you can watch the TrackAddix GP Racing action, and then partake in the Paddock celebration and Happy Hour after the races are over at 6:15 p.m. in the clubhouse bar at the track. DINNER is available in the clubhouse dining room at the track on Saturday night as well, plus there are several great restaurants in Hastings outside of the track.

BIKE REQUIREMENTS:
Your Ducati must be in good and clean condition with over 50% tread life on tires, with a proper functioning throttle and brakes.

RIDER REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum rider age 19 years old with valid motorcycle license and 1 year street riding experience. Street riding gear is acceptable, including full face or modular helmet (no 1/2 or 3/4 helmets), over-the-ankle boots (no tennis shoes), gloves, motorcycle jacket and full-length pants (jeans are acceptable, no shorts).


WHAT'S NEXT?
After you've completed one or more of the Try-The-Track sessions, if you decide you'd like to take the next step in completing the full TrackAddix "School of Speed" track day school to become a full track day rider, remember if you purchased a new Ducati motorcycle at Ducati Omaha EVER, you are entitled to the school FOR FREE (A $295 value!). Just contact the Ducati Omaha Sales Department to let us know what date you'd like to take the school. Note we DO have a few sets of "loaner" leather suits available, PLUS we have a provider for RENTAL BIKES and RENTAL LEATHERS to take the school on if you don't want to do it on your current street bike.
