About Ducati Omaha

Ducati Omaha was born in a very unusual fashion, we never set out to be a full-service motorcycle dealership. The story begins at a race track in 2005, two guys riding Ducatis at a track day event at the same time Ducati had a factory presence at the track. A conversation took place between the Ducati Regional Sales Manager and these track guys who were 500 miles from home. One thing led to another, and it was revealed that these two guys owned a small racing shop back in Omaha, Nebraska and were huge Ducati fans. Fast forward 6 months later, and Ducati North America proposed that this small racing shop become a full franchised Ducati dealer. Really? Seems crazy, but sure why not, let's give us a try. That was 20 years ago, and Ducati Omaha went on to become one of the top Exclusive Ducati dealers in the world. And the Ducati Regional Sales Manager who got this all started went on to become the CEO of Ducati North America!

And here we are today, still rocking and rolling as an Exclusive Ducati Dealer smack dab in the middle of the USA. Ducati Omaha has long established its expertise in eCommerce and is one of the top online Ducati Parts, Accessories and Apparel dealers in additional to our award-winning local dealership services. Winner of the "Best Exclusive Ducati Dealership" award from Ducati North America as well as a multi-time recipient of the prestegious annual Ducati Service Client Satisfaction award from Ducati in Italy, Ducati Omaha has always placed the highest priority on providing a client experience that is second to none. Whether you are 1000 miles away shopping on our website, or you're in our showroom deciding which new Ducati will be in your garage soon, we want you to be thrilled with your experience with Ducati Omaha and with Ducati as a brand. You all mean the world to us and we thank you!

Meet the Team

Jarel

direttore del caos

A ten year-old Jarel learned the art of motorcycling on a Briggs & Stratton powered mini bike.  He graduated to a Yamahopper and has owned many Ducatis since then.  "After my first ride on a Ducati, I knew I was addicted to them. The stability of the chassis at full lean, the torque, the incredible brakes, the technology, and when it was parked and all I could do was look at it, the enjoyment was just as intense."  Jarel realized his childhood dream of owning his business, but hasn't purchased either his dream bike (Ducati Supermono) or car (1970 Chevelle with a 454ci) just yet.  Jarel likes to play the guitar for his wife Shari and Oscar, who reigns as the official shop canine!

Tim

re delle vendite

At 19 years young Tim loved every minute on his first bike, a maroon colored 1985 Yamaha Virago! Into the moto abyss it went until, after spending a few years at a cut throat sales job, Tim bought his very first Ducati; A 2005 Ducati Monster S4R! It was a move that would eventually bring him to Ducati Omaha in 2013. Why Ducati? Tim says "no other moto brand is as good at transforming inspiration and emotion into metal as Ducati is!" When Tim isn't riding his Monster or learning martial arts wizardry, he is busy spending time with his wife, two young children, and his frisky felines. He dreams of owning an original, Titanium grey, red-framed Ducati Streetfighter 1098 S, which he calls the "most impractical, sexiest bike ever made!

Shun

tuttofare

As a kid on the east coast, Shun imagined that someday, he would be another Evel Knievel!  When the frame on his Honda SL 70 snapped after one too many jumps, Shun decided he would be better off treating the damaged bones of others--as opposed to breaking his own!  Shun loves "Ducati's brand of performance and style" and when he isn't doing TrackAddix track days with his Ducati Paul Smart 1000 Sportclassic, he likes to kick up some sawdust in his woodworking shop.  He and his wife have two children, neither of whom they would trade for Shun's dream bike (a Ducati-powered NCR Millona)!

Emery

sultano delle parti

As a child, Emery would sit on his dad's big Kawasaki cruiser and imagine he was a motorcyclist!  In his early twenties, he decided to stop pretending and finally bought his own ride.  Twenty years later, he cruises on his own immaculate, white Ducati XDiavel S (nicely accessorized)!  When not on his Ducati, Emery is a Master Level 5th degree Hapkido instructor and runs his EWM Hapkido Academy here in Omaha.  He also likes to bang on his drum kit!  Best of all, he already owns his dream bike: his Ducati XDiavel S!

Eric

sussurratore di motociclette

Eric began his rambunctious riding career at age 8 on a Honda CR 80 ("that poor bike" he remembers)!  He loves Ducatis because "they are the most beautiful motorcycles ever made!  Ducati is a unique company and they just don't do it like everybody else!"  He rides a Ducati Panigale V4S, but dreams of owning a Superleggara V4.  And a classic Kawasaki 750 H2.  Or a supercharged H2R!  In fact, he says it would be easier to name the bikes "I don't dream about owning!"  Eric also competes in precision rifle shooting and builds really cool scale models of cars, military vehicles and of course, motorcycles.

Kent

il migliore amico del cliente

If Kent could've saved the money he spent on motorcycle magazines as a kid, he would've been able to buy his first motorcycle much earlier in life!  After spending time on a Sears 3.5 horsepower mini-bike, he graduated to a Yamaha MX 100.  He's ridden motocross bikes ever since and still competes with the Great Plains Vintage Motocross association.  He has owned his 2006 Ducati MTS 620 since buying it, brand new from Jarel in the early days of Ducati Omaha.  Kent, his daughters and his most amazing grandson live in Lincoln and when he isn't doing something with motorcycles, he is a freelance writer and likes to frighten his dog with his guitar playing skills.

Conner

When Conner decided to get into motorcycling at age 20, he went full superbike and bought a 1975 Honda CB 750 Four!  "It was heavy, had crap brakes and rotting tires, but a lot of power--what could go wrong?"  He rode the bike from his home to college at Iowa State and still owns it to this day!  Along with his vintage Honda, Conner owns a 1994 Ducati 900SS, a 2001 Honda CBR600F4i and a 2010 Ducati MTS 1200 S.  He has a passion for Ducati because " I have a lot of respect for Ducati's performance first attitude. The fact that any bike in any model family has an engine with distinct technology that can be traced back to a superbike is something special!"

Craig

miglior consulente di servizio

Craig's two wheeled career began on a '71 Honda CT 70, complete with handlebars that could be folded down in order to fit the little bike in the trunk of a car!  He bought his first Ducati Monster last year, but dreams of owning a Panigale V4Sp Anniversary 916!  Craig believes Ducati's lineup has the best electronics (Ducati Quick Shift, Ducati Riding Mode, Ducati Traction Control, etc.) in the motorcycling world.  His childhood dream of becoming a race car driver came true, as he races RC cars on dirt ovals throughout the Midwest--with real factory sponsorship!

Drew

Even though Drew grew up listening to his Dad reminisce about riding a Ducati, he was 18 years old before he bought his first bike, which was a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6.  His next motorcycle was a Suzuki SV1000S and he eventually landed on his current ride, a 2019 MTS 1260S.  He rides a Ducati because of "that v-twin power, Italian style, and cutting-edge engineering."

Drew handles our website needs, remotely from his home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  He and his wife have five children, two grandchildren and he dreams of someday owning a 2014 Shelby GT500 convertible.  What most people don't know about him is that he claims to be "...hilarious.  Ask my family." he says. "They'll tell you!"

Alec

Alec started riding when he was just 11 years old, cutting his teeth on a 1972 Arctic Cat mini bike.  An avid guitarist, he thought he might be a rock star when he grew up, but he found true career bliss when he landed his position as a Sales Consultant here at Ducati Omaha.  He loves the high quality fit and finish with the Ducati brand.  Until he can sell himself his own Ducati (or a MV Agusta Superveloce 1000), Alec rides a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675.  He is an only child, but shares his home with two dogs named Freddy and Mika.

Nick

Nick grew up around motorcycles, but was a "late bloomer," buying his Honda CBR 250R when he was 32 years old.  He has owned numerous Ducatis, including Monsters, a Scrambler, an 848 track bike, and currently a Multistrada 950.

"It might sound like an advertisement, but the Italian styling and aesthetics, combined with their racing mindset for performance, really draws me to Ducati" he says.  "They are incredible motorcycles to ride."

Speaking of drawing, Nick likes to sketch in his spare time.  A versatile fellow, he has a degree in English literature, handles our parts orders and dreams of owning a Ducati-powered Bimota.  Nick and his wife, along with a cat, live in Omaha.
