Desmo Omaha Ducati Rider's Club
CALLING ALL OMAHA-AREA DUCATISTI!
The DesmoOmaha club is THE local Ducati club, affiliated with Ducati Omaha, but is an independent non-profit corporation with club officers and volunteers who put on all sorts of great events for the club! The DesmoOmaha club supports a variety of events every year for members, including group rides, touring trips, race viewing parties, rallies, bike nights and more!
This is a club ran BY the members, FOR the members! If you own a Ducati, we want YOU to have lots of fun opportunities to get out with your fellow Ducatisti and enjoy your fine Italian machinery! Our rides are actually RIDES, we don't do the 10-mile hop from spot to spot with more time spent parked than riding. The club has a variety of ride events, from simple "Meet up on Saturday afternoon" rides to multi-day touring trips, and everything in between. The most important this is just to GET OUT AND RIDE!!
CLUB EVENT PLANNING:
Most of the regular club events and rides are planned and managed by individual members of the club's Event Committee. ALL members are encouraged to participate in event planning if they are interested in doing so, and everyone is welcome on the Event Committee. To make event management a less daunting task for any one person, we highly encourage ONE PERSON to take the lead in planning ONE EVENT every season! If you have a great idea for a ride destination or other type of event, take the bull by the horns and make it happen! Contact any club officer when you see them, or use the Club Contact info below to discuss potential event ideas.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP:
Membership in the DesmoOmaha Club is currently FREE for any Ducati owner in the Omaha, Nebraska area who can attend local club events! Your obligation as a club member is to be active in the Ducati community, attend events, and spread the passion for Ducati motorcycles!
To JOIN the DesmoOmaha club it MUST be done through the MyDucati app on your mobile device. Download the app and create an account if you haven't already, you can register your VIN# on the app so Ducati knows who you are, then you'll see an option to Find Your Local DOC, you can search and find DesmoOmaha, then click to JOIN!
