SHOEI X-14 BLACK HELMET
SHOEI X-14 BLACK HELMET
The difference between a race win and second-place finish can be decided by mere milliseconds, which is precisely why World Champions like Marc Marquez choose the all-new SHOEI X-Fourteen to help shave time off of every lap. Track certified by the fastest rider on the planet, the X-Fourteen is a proven race weapon for those who aren’t willing to sacrifice a single detail when it comes to high-end performance. Like the handcrafted race bikes that dominate MotoGP’s premiere racing circuits, every detail of the X-Fourteen was carefully designed, tested and fine-tuned until this final, uncompromised masterpiece was born. The X-Fourteen—When milliseconds count.
The flagship model of SHOEI’s premium helmet lineup, the X-Series has earned the respect and praise of many of the world's top road racers over the years, and the all-new X-Fourteen is the next generation of this high-performance pedigree. Developed using rider input from the world's top road racing athletes like Marc Marquez and Bradley Smith, careful consideration was given to every detail of the new X-Fourteen.
Born in SHOEI’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel, the X-Fourteen's aerodynamic profile has been meticulously crafted to enhance high-speed stability while reducing drag and the negative forces that can inhibit a rider's performance on race day.
Racing environments can be extremely hot and fatiguing, which is precisely why next-level ventilation performance was a top priority when SHOEI engineers conceptualized the X-Fourteen.
The X-Fourteen's race shield system provides innovative features and the vast field of vision that today's top racers demand. Protecting against 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays, the CWR-F shield offers a distortion-free view throughout the entire range.
Few characteristics of a motorcycle helmet are as critically important as its first and second layers of defense, which is precisely why the new X-Fourteen features the SHOEI-exclusive Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ shell and Dual-Layer, Multi-Density EPS liner.
The X-Fourteen is equipped with a fully removable, washable, replaceable and adjustable 3D Max-Dry Custom Interior System complete with patent-pending new performance features.

How To Measure Your Head Size
- To determine where you fall on SHOEI's sizing chart (as a starting point for proper helmet fit), pass a soft, flexible tape measure horizontally around your head at a height of approximately one inch (2.5cm) above your eyebrows (the largest measurement around your forehead).
- Select the helmet size that is closest to your head measurement from the sizing guidelines above. If your head measurement falls between two helmet sizes, first try on the smaller of the two helmets.
THE PERFECT FIT
No helmet can protect the wearer against all unforeseeable high- and low-speed impacts. However, to help maximize head protection, the helmet must fit properly, and the retention system must be securely fastened under the chin. Failure to ride with a proper fitting helmet and securely fastened chinstrap is dangerous, as the helmet could come off during an accident, resulting in severe head trauma or death.
To determine the proper helmet fit and learn how to safely secure your chinstrap retention system, we recommend viewing SHOEI's "Helmet Fit" video at www.shoei-helmets.com/helmetfit, or consult with an authorized SHOEI dealer today. Proper fit is important not only for comfort, but for safety, as well.
