The BEST
riding weather of the year is here!
Late summer and all through the fall is usually our BEST riding weather of the
year around here, so make sure you get out and take advantage of all the
riding opportunities available for the next few months!
Today (Monday Aug. 18th) is another installment of the MotoMonday
track day program at Mid-America Motorplex. In addition to offering 5 full
hours of track time from 2-7 p.m. for track day participants, the popular
“Try-The-Track” program is also offered at 5 p.m. to give anyone who wants a
“taste” of what a track day is like the opportunity to get a 15-minute guided
session on the track, with NO special bike prep or special riding gear
required! Just ride your bike out to the track by 5 p.m. and register at the
Ducati Omaha trailer. Best of all it’s
FREE! What better reason is there to cut out of work a little
early today?!?!
This WEDNESDAY, Aug. 20th is the August edition of the Omaha Euro
Bike Night, sponsored by the DesmoOmaha club! The weather looks PERFECT for
Wednesday evening, so please come join your fellow euro bike fans for a bite

Sunday, Aug. 24th – Millard Days Car/Bike Show!!
Ducati Omaha is once again sponsoring the Import Motorcycles class at the
Millard Days Bike Show, THIS Sunday Aug. 24th!
Last year the grand prize trophy was taken home by Dr. Matthew Hanfland with
his beautiful black Ducati 1098S! Who will be the big winner this year?!?!
Will it be YOU?!?!
Ducati Omaha will be there all day with a tent set up, come out with the whole
family and check out all of the cool cars and bikes on display and vote for
your favorite! Also, if you have a bike you’d like to enter in the show,
PLEASE do so!! We need a big showing of Ducatis at this event!! Your bike
does not have to be a one-off custom machine, anything from a clean bone-stock
motorcycle to a full custom creation is eligible for prizes! Ducati Omaha
will have a special “Thank You” package for everyone who brings out a Ducati
to enter in the show! You can enter your bike in the show and hang out with
us in the Ducati tent for the day, hope to see you there!

Track School of 2008 – Sept. 6th – Motorsports Park Hastings
It’s been a GREAT season at the track this year for track days and racing, and
it’s NOT over yet!! We have 4 more installments of the MotoMonday program
left, and two weekend track day events as well. The track day at Motorsports
Park Hastings on Saturday Sept. 6th is the LAST opportunity of the
season to do your FIRST full track day and take the new rider’s school!!
There are a LOT of riders out there who have been talking about getting out
to join the rest of us who are having a BLAST at the track, but still need to
take the rider’s school so they can get certified for riding at track days!
THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!!! The
Hastings track is a beautiful facility, and you can either come enjoy one day
of the most fun you’ll ever have, or make a full weekend of it and stick
around to watch the CCS Roadracing Championships on Sunday! We’ll be
coordinating carpools for anyone who would like to share a ride/trailer, just
give Jarel a call or stop by Ducati Omaha, 402-408-4400.
